If you're having problems it probably has nothing to do with you're having a built-in mike. The server or the Lesson software that captures your audio system's setting is a bit contrary (unstable). Sometimes it finds you system's audio settings and recognizes your microphones and sometimes it won't. Sometimes restarting your browser helps, sometimes it won't. I'd just suggest that you try it a several different times and see if you are successful. Many people have posted notes here saying that there mike works elsewhere, but not here. Try the chat room here and see if it is the SpanishDict.com server or the audio capture that is at fault. If your mike works with Tokbox at www.tokbox.com but not here, then I'd say the problem is with the SpanishDict.com server. If it works in the Chatroom, but not with the Speak portion of the Lessons then it is the audio capture software that is at fault. You may be able to get it to work, but you may have to try at several different times. The server just seems to have to be in an agreeable "mood"

What browser are you using? I had the same problem in Safari, but had better results in Firefox. After you "allow" the Flash recording, you should get a big button to start your recording. If you don't see that, try refreshing the page. Again, this works for me in Firefox but so far not in Safari.

No luck with my built in mic on my mac with either Safari or Firefox. Please help!
