ASK A QUESTION Translation assistance
Hello,
I am trying to translate this into plain english and I am really struggling: Pienso regresar pronto y ademas, para una mexicana, no bailo nada el flamenco.
I have translated to this but it does not flow well in English and I seriously doubt my translation is correct: I think I will return soon and besides, for a Mexican, I don't dance the Flamenco well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think I will return soon and besides, for a Mexican, I don't dance the Flamenco well.
My intention is to return soon and besides, for a Mexican, I don't dance Flamenco at all.
Thank you so much!
I translated it as: In the hotel we ate, slept and didn't do anything else until Monday afternoon. The first day we walked through the Playa Mayor and the Orient Plaza. My mom loves museums; that is why we went to two during our stay.
My Spanish professor said it was close but need work. Your suggestions?
Finally, how do you place accent and tilde marks on spanish words in this forum?
Thanks!
Dannette
surely martes is TUESDAY and not monday. didn't your teacher spot that. to me, the rest looks ok with just a few alterations.
comimos y dormimos en el hotel y no hicimos nada mas hasta que el mediodia del martes. El primer dia caminamos por la Playa Mayor y la Plaza del Oriente. le encantan a mi mama los museos y por eso visitamos dos durante nuestra estadía.
go to spanishdict.com at the top of the page
go to help
accents for windows are on the help list.
Of course you are right, it's lunes
just spotted that "estadía" for length of stay (ie duración) is used in Latin America. que error mas fundamental. confundo la velocidad con el tocino.
Pienso regresar pronto y ademas como mejicana no bailo muy bien el Flamenco
At the hotel we ate, slept and didn't do anything until noon on TUESDAY. The first day we walked through the Playa Mayor and the Plaza de Oriente. ..
Pienso + inf. does not mean "I think I will ..."
It means "I plan to ..."
So "Pienso regresar pronto" means "I plan to return (come back, go back, etc.) soon," or "I plan on returning..."
Eddy, there is no "help" on that page. What are you referring to'
Hi James - Ragarding spnish accents
I posted this on March 15. I think they have altered the page during the last site maintenance period as I cannot find it myself, but it was there.
I recently wrote up a little introduction to typing in Spanish, and sent it to Christopher (is he the forum moderator'). He said he would consider posting it somewhere, but I haven't heard back yet.
Yes, I believe it is Christopher and Cherry, however, I understand that both have been uncontactable lately. They may both have taken a short break a the same time. I know that memebers of the group have been trying to contact them but to no avail.
Thanks, however, it used to be on this site but I cannot find it now. It's 1:30 am and I am YAWN, YAWN, YAWN, YAWN, going to bed. Bye for now. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
