I am trying to say: "She likes the rain but the rain is no fun when her love is far away" ...

This is how I would say it but I want to make sure it's right. In my head I translated that as: "Ella le gusta la lluvia... pero la lluvia no es divertido cuando su amor esta lejos de ella"

ella. This is the way I would say it but only because it sounds more poetic.

i believe the first part of your translation should be "le gusta a ella la lluvia" and not "Ella le gusta la lluvia"
