Estoy traduciendo un texto sobre el lavado de dinero y he encontrado el sintagma "compañía de fachada". Alguien me puede aydar con el significado.

I just want to confirm Steve's suggestion as being correct. In normal usage, this is called just a "front," as in "the printing business is a front for a money laundering operation." We also say things like "'it's a cover operation for..."
