ASK A QUESTION por mi cuenta. On my own or in my opinion?

I agree with Eddy in this one. I've ever used "por mi cuenta" only as "by myself".
"Lo voy a hacer por mi cuenta" => I'm going to do this by myself.
por mi cuenta---|in my opininion
I canot find any context where this could mean "in my opinion".
Harry found this in the dictionary under "cuenta"
Por mi cuenta -> in my opinion
Well, let's wait for other opinions.
