I was literally waiting for someone to ask that. Both get hits on the Net, although the singular form is far more frequent. My guess is that, from a strictly grammatical standpoint, the singular is correct, but that the plural is used colloquially when the group noun is considered as a plural.

"Le", because it refers to "todo el mundo", which is singular even though it refers to a collective.

It wasn't that I intentionally made a mistake. It's just that I wrote it that way, looked at it and asked myself the same question you did, and decided just to leave it and let someone correct it if it was wrong. Hey, it's Monday and I'm feeling lazy!
