In a book I was reading somebody "puso cara de . What does it mean? Based on the context I would guess it means "I told you so" but I not for sure.

Thanks

I don't think it's "I told you so," which maps very closely to the common Spanish phrase "(Ya) te lo dije."

Someone else may know more about it, but I would say it just means "and her face seemed to say, 'It's better this way.'" Or something like that, depending on the context.
