My daughter has a friend in La Paz she communicates with and in his emails he quite often says "jeje". Can someone tell me what this means.

por supuesto... es como hehehehehe porque... spanish ppl pronounce the letter j like h - that's where jejejeje comes from...

Remember that j in Spanish sounds like h in English. (A very sloppy statement -- the phonetics deities on the forum will probably zap me for that -- but you get the point.) So jeje / jaja in Spanish is just like hehe / haha in English.
