I can't seem to get a accurate translation for this. I think he is saying, "I see you tomorrow My butterfly, quiet love."

He is from Honduras and I tend to have a lot of problems translating his texts. I don't understand why he puts the } in manana. This isn't the first time I have seen him put a } in a word and I can never translate it. I'm not sure if he is mistyping on his phone or what. I think he spelled Tranquilai wrong and meant Tranquila instead.

His Text came in response to my question of, "Esta usted enojado conmigo'" Which Is why I think he says for me to Quiet "tranquila".

Any help is appreciated, I will feel better knowing he is not angry with me. =)

I think that maybe ur phone or computer cannot read the "ñ", nd therefore it jus displays "}". And i think that mayb he jus accidentally typed and "i" at the end of tranquila. but otherwise "Mañana te veo mi mariposa tranquila" means: I'll see you tomorrow my quiet butterfly. Also butterfly might just be a term of endearment.

Oh I did not even think about the phone thing. Makes sense now. Thank you.

Looking at it I also think he may have forgot or missed the space in tranquilai and Meant to say "tranquila I Love"

Having a relationship with someone who does not speak your language is very frustrating to say the least. But He is trying and is even taking english classes.

And yes Mariposa is his nickname for me. I have a tattoo of one. ;o)

I have a girlfriend that doesn't speak English and I'm learning Spanish for her...this seems very sexist and one-sided to me,whatever happened to equality of the sexes? wink

quiet love."
the above was in response to your question;"Esta usted enojado conmigo'"
he meant to say dont worry , take it easy

tranquilo o traquila is used all the time in Central America and Mexico: it also use by my frieds from Peru and Bolivia; it means, take it esay , dont worry ,calm down.

They ask, how are you, the answer would be (among a bunch of them) tranquilo meaning ok,good, all is quiet..

Just make sure you have the right ending on it (mariposa). The wrong gender with this word gives a completely different meaning.

I'd be careful with "mariposa" in mainland Spain as I believe it means "gay"!
