Hi, everyone! I'm working on a software manual translation. It's a digital video manager.

One of the very first sentences, where all the software features are explained, reads: "XXXXXXX enables cataloging, searching, annotating and playback of videos..."

Does playback simply mean "reproducción"? My dictionaries say so, but I'm not sure. In Argentina, "playback" is seldom used to mean "remove audio" or something related, so I'm kind of confused.

Thanks for reading!

Playback just means you're going to play the video (put it in, push play, watch it). It does NOT mean that you're going to copy it.

Does that help'
