I checked the SpanishDict, la palabra "sol" gives 2 meanings: G note and , yes, sun.
If the lyric is "me gusta cantar el sol", then the "sun" meaning would not have any meaning.
But if it means the "cantar as on the G Note", then maybe it'll mean something, e.g. maybe the song starts with G note.

BTW the lyrics I am talking about has been obtained from internet search.
