Number 4 would be "Los coches son suyos", and number 5 would be "Las lámparas son mías". I can't see how can you do this with the first three.

Standard English would certainly help improving our communication, because your last response makes no sense to me!
The purpose of the exercise seems to be replacing a redundant atribute with a possessive adjective, by a single possessive pronoun. This can be easily done with sentences No. 4 and 5, but it cannot be done with No. 1-3... if you want to end up with meaningful sentences. So, either I misunderstood the purpose of the exercise, or whoever designed it, can't speak Spanish.
i really apologize for not speaking standard english, it is because i am very adapted to it since i have been using it for a very long time. But i will do my best in speaking very formal.
yes i agree it does not make sense for the first three , my spanish teacher designed it she is not originally spanish so i would assume thats why .

Well... my Spanish might not be perfect, but it is my mother tongue, I am a qualified Spanish teacher, I've studied advanced grammar for years, and yet I fail to see how to carry out the instructions with the first three questions. Unless I have misunderstood the purpose of the exercise, I believe that it is a waste of time (and impossible) to try to use possessives with those first three questions.
Regards,
yes i agree too i mean that is why i had trouble like even doing it because it makes no sense at all, i emailed my teacher that just now.

If you're willing to depart a bit further from the original sentences, then, perhaps:
1) El tuo es soleado.
2) Los suyos son inteligentes.
3) Los vuestros son importantes.
These all have the virtue of using possessive pronouns but they represent more "radical" changes to the original sentences.
so which one should i use for my assignment. and you meant el tuyo es soleado but that does not make sense to me, doesnt that just translate to the your is sunny.

Sorry about the typo "tuo" for "tuyo".
It would mean "Yours is sunny." ("yours" is a possessive pronoun as is "tuyo")
2 & #3 also translate as "yours are" (the difference is between formal/informal) and both refer to you plural.
As for which you should use for your homework; I don't know. The sentences I suggested do use the possessive pronouns but (to do so) "bend" the rules a bit (involve more rewriting of the original sentences).
why add a de?

I would love to read your teacher's answer to your e-mail. Would you share it with us?
Me gustaria leer la respuesta de su profesora a su mensaje electronico. ¿Lo podria compartir con nosotros, sus amigos '
Because she changed form from "Los negocios vuestros" to "Los negocios de vosotros" (from los vuestros to los de vosotros). The second form is usually used to clarify the "suyo" form: los suyos... los del ella, los de él, los de usted)
