Meaning of arrestos

Intento traduzcar esta frasa de un periódico, y necesito ayuda, por favor.

La frasa:
A la luz de sus respuestas, las facciones de la persona que quiere seducir son menos relevantes que su sonrisa, su capacidad para mirar a la otra persona a los ojos o sus arrestos para decirle con naturalidad que le gusta mucho.

Yo pienso quiere decir:
In the light of their responses, the factions of the person that you want to seduce are less relevant than their smile, their ability to look at the other person in the eyes, and their boldness in telling them naturaly that they like them a lot.

your translation is good. I would give you an A

Good translation. I would change a few things in English to make it sound more natural.
Take out the word the and make it "In light of their responses,"
Change factions to features.
I have never heard the word arrestos used to mean boldness but according to the dictionary that is correct.

I would interpret this completely different. here we are not talking about the person you wish to seduce but the person who wishes to seduce.

If you gave us another sentence or two....

Which I believe means:
The scientists have interviewed 230 men and women, exploring what roles different factors have in sexual and emotional attraction for the other sex.

On reflection I think you're right - the piece is about a study by scientists into the workings of sexual attraction, so 'the person who wishes to seduce' probably does work better.
