the verb is bendecir=to bless bendiga is the formal command/present subjunctive tense

I would translate it as God Bless them/you (feminine)
or simply God Bless!

I've heard of the subjunctive frase.... "que dios nos venga" or something that sounds like "que dios no vendigan" which is means something like "that God comes to us" and people use that frase to say goodbye to each other like adios which really means "to God"
