I think you mean un quarto para las tres( 2:45 pm ) but if you actually mean cuatro para las tres de la tarde,then it would be 2:56 PM

first the hour, then the minutes:

English: 2.56 = four minutes to three

Spanish: 2.56 = las tres menos cuatro (minutos)

Enlgish: 3.04 = 5 past 3

Spanish: 3.04 = Las tres y cuatro (minutos)
