My friend sent this and I think its about what a person(man) wants, the last phrase has me stuffed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gracias.

mm a close meaning would be: "I would write a song of what I felt, I wanted it to be that way."
and by the way, it is "en forma" two separated words =)
hope it helps =)

This is the translation:

"What he/she felt he/she wrote in a song, he/she wanted it was like that".

Hola Steven,
creo que significa - i wanted that it would be / was like that.

Last phrase="I wished that it were that way (thus)." This is somewhat less colloquial but has the virtue of preserving the use of the subjunctive ("fuera").

The verbs: "sentía/quería" can be first singular person or third singular person.
Yo sentía
ÿl sentía
I don't know I interpreted it was third person, but they can be both:
Lo que (yo) sentía...
Lo que (él) sentía

I'm not satisfied with any of the translations given so far, so here's mine, assuming the subject to be a male (which may not be applicable).

He wrote what he was feeling in the form of a song, and he wanted it to be that way.
