Do I need a microphone in order to complete a lesson on the new learn spanish page'

No, you don't need a microphone to be able to pass the lesson. You can still earn 750 points just doing all the other games and activities if you don't have a microphone. But if you do have a microphone, then the speaking activity is a really easy way to earn 150 points. Really, the points are just there to provide you with a way to check your progress. We thought 750/1000 was a decent score to "pass" a lesson. But you don't technically have to pass the lesson to go to the next one. It's all for fun and learning so whatever gives you the most practice and is the most helpful to you is what you should do. (But I definitely recommend a microphone because it is really fun to record yourself and then listen to everyone else!)

I have a microphone and I've tried recording but I can't seem to get it on the site. Does it make a difference using a Mac vs. PC?
