ASK A QUESTION racquetball

The best they've come up with is "Raquetbol", although most people still write it using the counter-intuitive English spelling in Spanish. What a bunch of servile ignorants we are!
The ironical thing about all this is that "racquet" comes from French, and before that from Spanish "raqueta" (and that from Arabic), but the French and the English transformed the Spanish word into "racquet", and we happily copy it into our language again... but distorted and with a foreign spelling. Aren't we (Spanish speakers) sad?
At least "bol(a)" belongs to our original roots.
Bola es más general: se usa esferas de cualquier tamaño y función.
Pelota es más para deportes, aunque en billar son bolas.
Grazias especialmente por las bolas en billar porque yo no supe esto.
