It is used in an Irish folk song,, "Viva La Quinta Brigada,,,,,,No parasan" the cry that made them fight,,,,, Adlente, echoed on the hillside,, Let us all remember them tonight" Don't know it, can't find it in any dictionary I own.

very easy : its spelling is "no pasarán" , they don't get through more or less.....

I think it was rather used in a Spanish Republican song: ¡No pasarán!. It was yelled against the fascist army leaded by Francisco Franco against the Spanish Republica.

"Pasar" can also mean To die/To pass away (Note George Harrison´s "All Things Must Pass")

"Viva La Quinta Brigada,,,,,,No parasan"...... "Long live the 5th brigade, they shall not die."
