Something I wonder which word I should use when I want to express a nice and romantic way to say "dear" or "honey" to some girls or girlfriend.
I have read some posts before and know "corazón", "mija" can be used to express what I am trying to say. However I want know if there are any more common ways to say it. Also I need to know the different words for normal girls (I mean some girls you know and try to be nice to them) and girlfriend. (I think there must be some difference between normal girls and girlfriend.)

Muchas gracias de antemano,

Marco

I call my boyfriend "muneco" for babydoll. Prolly not the first thing I'd say but he thinks it's cute. (and there's a tilde over the n of course).

There's also "carino/a" (tilde over n again) for like "sweetheart"
"Querido/a" for dear/beloved have also not been mentioned
And you can use "bonita" for baby or a term of endearment altho of course it's really "pretty girl"
haha I call him bonito too

Gracias por tú respuesta, Diablita. It really helps and "muneco" is really interesting.
I have heard some others say "querido/a" before and guess that meaning should be similar to romance area.

Thanks,

Marco

bueno this is what i would say but people do differ, like i would say to a fem or has been said to me being that i am fem. mi amor (my love) querida(loved one) that would be one one of doing it. but although i am half black, although by looking at me ya wouldn't know, i have been told como te sientes mi negrita. not meaning anything of color but it is taken like how ya feeling my sweet heart. slang but it works for me.)

Hi Marco. I've noticed you put a tilde on "tu" on your previous answer: "Muchas gracias por tú ayuda". That's not correct. You only use the tilde on "tu" when it's used as a personal pronoun. By example "Como estas tú '". You don't put a tilde when using it as a possesive adjective; "Tu casa es muy linda".

Heidita,
I always heard bruja as witch & just looked it up
hag, witch
I also found it to be bewitching, beguiling
but he better not take a chance of being misunderstood.
