ASK A QUESTION Spanish/Latin Music
Hola!
Can someone tell me how to find the Latin/Spanish Music Charts?
We recently spent two weeks in Mallorca, Spain.
The place where we stayed the television had about 40 free Spanish speaking stations and had satellite (we lost count at 400) with over 400 German speaking stations, and only two English channels (CNN and EuroSports). The shows we like in English were being shown, but since we cant speak fluent Spanish or German it was extremely hard to keep up with what was happening so we ended up listening to the radio quite a bit.
Now on my question.
We fell in love with the music! I really do miss it. However, because the announcer was speaking so quickly, I was hardly ever able to catch the names of any of the songs or the artists names. I do remember some of the lyrics but I cant be sure that those lyrics contain the names of the songs. I have tried Googling some of the lyrics that I remembered but i couldn't find what I needed.
I think the radio station was playing the top 20 or 40 and a few random others thrown in.
.
How can I find out what those songs were?
How can I listen to them again?
Sorry for such a long topic. Thanks for bearing with me ![]()
Muchas gracias por ayudarme ![]()

Hi Sara:
How you doing?
My question is if you are in USA, because if you are, you can watch MUND2 channel and maybe you can watch and hear those songs. I hope this can help you. Thank you.
Hola Idalmis!
muy bien, y tu?
Gracias para responder a mi pregunta!
I am no longer living in The States. I now live in the U.K.
No soy vivir en Estados Unidas (anymore). Soy vivir en Inglaterra.
Where we live there is only one spanish channel and it seems to be a news/magazine/soap opera/game show channel - I have yet to see music on it.
i have found two of the songs I was looking for ( I am sooo very proud of myself!)
The two that absolutely stuck out in my mind.
Dame Carina Nina by El Arrebato
and
Hot Summer Night by David Tavare
(no wonder I had trouble finding that one! I thought it was the Hola song or Hola la la)
To make sure they were the correct songs, I found them both on YouTube!
I would love to have them on my spanishdict homepage, just not sure how.
The website ChicaSabrosa gave me, does have a player radio. I've been listening to that all day! It does stop after awhile though.

Oh by the way, I said Hi to you in Chat area ![]()
Buenos Tardes Idalmis!
You can also try www.mtvla.com which is MTV Latin America (I'm not sure about MTV in Spain). They have videos too. What you don't find you can always see on youtube.
