I think in these sentences, the way mean= maneras, forma, modo...
I like the way you smell (In this sentence, I obtmit "the way" in spanish translate) I would say= Me gusta tu aroma/Me gusta como hueles, Me gusta tu olor

My personal translate for I like the way you cheat on your boyfriend= Me gusta la manera que tienes de engañar a tu novio, Me gusta el modo que tienes de engañar a tu novio, etc, etc, etc...

My Collins dictionary gives 16 different interpretations of using "way" and some of these are split into three different meanings. So, as mogor says, it depends on the English content as to which word in Spanish is used.

I live in Sonora, Mexico AND I tend to be saracastic. My experience is that my sarcasm has never been understood. The thinking seems to be very literal. So if your comment vis-a vis..."enganar su novio" is to be saracastic-good luck!

Hi choloitto
I somehow don't think you are going to get a "single" answer to this one.
