I have a 15th--16th century manuscript (partchment0 official Spanish signed surname--Lancho,Sancho, '''? mentioning the name Columbus many times within about 25 lines about 18 inches wide all hand written.I'm certain it is old Spanish, but the script hand-writing is difficult to translate.I bought this many years ago along with many signed manuscripts of kings in Europe from the 14th-16th century.Does anyone have any idea as to whom I can send this potentially valuable manuscript in order to have it translated.I imagine someone into ancient languages at a university may be able to help me.I am willing to give a percentage of its value to any one able to help in its translation.I bought this with other very valuable papers about 20 years ago. Thanks John Leritz Clearwater,Fl

Hello

The signature is more likely to be Sancho, as this is a Spanish name.

"Old" Spanish is relatively easy to understand. I should think the Spanish department of any university will be able to help you. Or you could try posting a transcription here and see if anyone would be able to translate it
