ser/estar
Help my spanish tutor will be here in an hour and my homework was to learn when to use ser, estar, es, esta etc and have not had time to do it kids off for 1.2 term not a minute to myself now blindly panicking and cant remember anything is there anyone out there who can give me a quick recap.

Here is a great example of how dynamic languages are. Simply put, the difference is that "ser" is about self existance and estar is about a place a location of a manner of being

how about esta muerto. i am sure muerto is a permanent state, however, in spanish they use estar.
"Estar muerto" is the act of being dead and "esta muerto" is to be dead (inanimate).
