Molestar in the preterite

I'm a little confused about this. Is this sentence right:
Me molestó a mi hermano anoche - I bothered my brother yesterday.

"Moleste' a mi hermano ayer." sounds correct. Anoche means last night. "Me molesto" means he bothered me.

Yeah, I realized I had said yesterday instead of last night, but I couldn't edit it.
