I read this phrase in the discussions about familia extensa and didn't understand it. Thanks.

That sounds fatal is the literal translation, meaning "it doesn't sound right"

Thanks for the tips. By the way, I'm new on this site and with 'cyber space' lingo. I think I inadvertently put my name in the 'tagged' box. Could you tell me what that space is for? Cheri

Perhaps we can add "it does not look good/sound good". It all depends on the context. Would you mind expanding on this'

Hi Cheri

Tags are short descriptions that let you find your discussions. Separate tags with commas or put multiple-word tags in quotes, such as "San Francisco".

You do not have to enter your name as it automatically appears under your "discussion title" post.

I think it is stronger than that sally. It doesn't sound right means "strange". As james has already said horrible plus you could say awful/terrible/disastrous.
