Yo estoy aprendiendo inglés y algunas veces no encuentro el significado de algunas palabras o expresiones y me gustaría saberlas.

The reason for this is that the translators (Google, etc) give the most plain, non-offensive translations. Most dictionaries give the most commonly used words and phrases possible, again bypassing "ismos" and such. However, you can find these things, at places like Urbandictionary. com, spanishprono.com, etc. While these are good and insightful webpages, there is no subsitute for a site like this.

Puedes buscar libros en la biblioteca (libros para los niños) en inglés. También haz una lista de vocabulario y practica las palabras todos los dias.
