Is an accent used on fui to differentiate between "was" and "went"'

It would be nice, but, no, they both look the same.

Thank you. For thirty years I've been writing "I went" with accented fui.

Using a diacritical accent is an interesting idea, but these accents are used to differenciate among grammatical categories and words from different roots, so no accent here.

By the way, fui can also mean "I was", sorry. wink
