Por qué no - Why not. I do not think there is direct translation for how come. I would say ¿cómo es posible? - how is that possible? Perhaps someone can enlighten us.

How come is synonymous with why, but if you want to distinguish between the two in Spanish, you can use porqué and cómo es que.

I just noticed that I spelled por qué as porqué. Bad habit of mine.

¿Por qué no'for the Why not'and ¿Cómo venga'How come?
is it correct? it is just a wild guess for me coz i am no expert in the language but i wanna help. that's all..

Como venga would not work in this instance as a verb is not required. "How come" in this instance is an "interrogative exclamation". James is perfectly correct, as another way of saying "how come" is "why".
