Eddy, I didn't reply to this question because I wasn't sure of the meaning, but from a purely grammatical standpoint, it doesn't mean what you say. Your version would be the translation of "Todo mi cariño en este abrazo, que la distancia no acorta."

Others may have better ideas, but I think the writer is saying: "All my affection in this hug, from a distance that never gets any shorter." O algo por el estilo.
