help me translate "traffic bond"

I need help translating this idiomatic expression. The only thing close to it that came to mind was "orden de arresto", but it doesn't represent the bond, it's the arrest that caused the necessity for the bond. I'm dealing with some legal terms....Thanks!

traffic bond: acuerdo de tráfico'?

Hi annabelle, sorry not very precise, as I am not familiar with the term. Can you give the whole sentence? What traffic are we talking about? Drugs?

I'm trying to help a lawyer friend explain the circumstances to a client and I need to explain in the best way possible the procedures, such as: traffic bond, posting a bond for a traffic arrest warrant, deferred adjudication, court date. Although I may know the lament terms to explain what the procedures are, the court letters contain specific terms that are not dealt with commonly, as you can imagine. What I'm dealing with is: your lawyer posted a bond for you for your release from jail. You were arrested because you had a warrant for your arrest due to a traffic violation. You ticket was dismissed. You have received deferred adjudication for this ticket. I'm doing this as a favor and a way for me to learn as well...smile P.S. I need something that applies to the Mexican dialect, I know Spanish words and expressions may differ among dialects. I hope this explains what I'm looking for. Thank you for ya'lls responses!
