You have to be careful. faltar is the word that comes to mind, which literally means "to lack", but the word order is switched around from English. For an object, it would be:

Me falta el libro. / I'm missing the book. (literally, "To me lacks the book.")

I believe it is different when referring to a person. We'll see how some native speakers translate it.

The only other reasonable option which comes up on the translator is extrañar / estrange, but that's probably not what you're looking for. One alternative would be, "Te quiero y quiero estar contigo.", "I like / love you and want to be with you."
