I am writing an essay on both extremes of weight (in Spain). I have a really simple question - what is the proper or most common term for the phrase 'eating disorder' in Spanish?
(Also I may need some more help with this essay. I have done a first version, so if anyone is willing to proof-read the first draft, please let me know a.s.a.p.! That would be amazing help! smile )
Thank you!

Estoy escribiendo un ensayo sobre los dos extremos de peso en España
Tengo una pregunta simple ? cómo se dice 'eating disorder? ? (por ejemplo, la anorexia) en español?
(También, necesito más ayuda con este ensayo. Si alguien puede ayudarme... He hecho una primera versión. Si alguien puede comprobarlo o algo así...)
Muchas gracias

Would you use trastorno when saying mad cow disease?

vaca enojada trastorna

Motley, enojada means "angry" not mad.

In Spain we say:

mal de las vacas locas.

I would be very angry, if I were one of the vacas locas..
Gracias, Gustavo y heidita
I needed that one yesterday, when I was trying to say it to a mexicano, no wonder he didn't understand.
I have always thought of loco as crazy.
But it certainly answers the question, trastorna isn't used.
