Misita=please define

Question

Could someone tell me what misita (Peruvian) translates to in English? Thank you so much!

I'm not from Perú but I know that they have the custom of saying words in the diminutive. Ex: carrito, casita, etc. The word you ask looks to me like the diminutive of misa, which is the catholic thing that catholics do.
Hopefully a Peruvian will correct me if I'm wrong.

In the course of fiddling with this post, I ran across these modismos:

• ¡por mí, que digan misa! = let them say what they like!
• estar en misa y repicando = to have one's cake and eat it too
• lo que yo diga va a misa = what I say goes
• no saber de la misa la media (o la mitad) = not to know anything about it, not to have a clue

Just wonder how common or popular they are en el mundo de hispanohablantes?
