An extract from an old song intrigued me , I have tried to translate but it is difficult

I would appreciate some help please.

El futura mira extredamente brilliante de hecho, grandes posibilidades .

Como dice la canción : Hemos hecho más que empezar.

The future looks bright indeed , extremely bright great possibilities .

As the song says : " We have only just begun." by Bruce Lee. The Carpenters

Listen it a great song.

Hi Ray, I found a side-by-side comparison of the lyrics in Spanish and English. I couldn't find the lyrics you mentioned, but Goldie did a good job capturing that idea. As you and the song said, "Sólo hemos empezado a vivir".

El futuro parece brillante, sumamente brillar con gran posibilidades.

  • Hi Gringo , that is saying the future "seams bright" , is that quite the same as " looks bright " ? - ray76 Feb 17, 2012 flag

From SD dictionary:

the future looks bright (for him) >> el futuro se le presenta brillante/prometedor

Entonces, diría: Ciertamente el futuro se presenta brillante.

I used "ciertamente" to add the emphasis of "indeed". I'm not sure if it worked red face lol

That quote is correct mate , it is from the book by Bruce Lee , but no I do not want the whole song translated just that verse it was interesting in the context of my life.

But thank you for your kind thoughts , not enough people around who are well

meaning and thoughtful . May you be well and happy.

I believe you are referring to a quote from pages 156-157 of Letters of the Dragon in a Letter to Linda

The future looks extremely bright indeed, with lots of possibilities ahead - big possibilities' Like the song says "We've only just begun."

So, are you looking to translate whole song into Spanish?
