Necesito un adelanto en mi sueldo. - I need an advance of my salary.alt text

Correction: Necesito un adelanto de mi sueldo.

  • Hi there, quick tweaks - you would use "de" instead of "en". Also I would say "I need an advance of my salary" or "I need a salary advance". Great sentence! - StuartSD Feb 15, 2012 flag

In the last one hundred years there have been amazing advances in science.

  • Great sentence, I would take off the 'de' and put 'los últimos cien años' because años is masculine. - Martha-SD Feb 15, 2012 flag
