En inglés la frase, "El pintor Salvador Dalí _____ el 11 de mayo de 1904 en Figueras, España" se dice "The painter Salvador Dali was born on May 11, 1904 in Figueras, Spain".

If this is a fill in the blank homework question, the verb in the infinitive is "nacer" and you're trying to conjugate it in the preterite form. Good luck!
