How do you say "to remind you" in Spanish?

In a card: "to remind you how much I need you, how much I appreciate you, and how very very much I love you."

  • Hi. What exactly are you trying to say? (a sentence, please) - Goldie_Miel Feb 14, 2012 flag

Welcome to the forum

It is apreciated if you try to come up with a suggestion first. You can use the translate section that you can find on the top of this site for instanse. If you can't find a correct answer, then we might try to help you wink Good luck!

Ok. Thanks.

My attempt:

(Reiteration: "Attempt" lol)

Para recordarte cuánto te necesito, cuánto te valoro y cuánto te quiero.

The translator, which can be very helpful at times wink, gave this as one possibility

recordar cuánto necesita, cuánto te agradezco, y cómo muy muy mucho que te amo.

...but it looks a little odd to me (Edit: it is weird so don't use it, lol). Maybe a native speaker will help. (Thanks for the help!)

  • Your attempt seems more right in my eyes. "Para recordarte" (to remind you), seems better than only "Recordar". But hey, I'm still somewhere in between beginner/intermediate. - inridk Feb 14, 2012 flag
  • Jeje, gracias. Lo que me confunda son los "cuantos". ¿Son usados correctamente? - Goldie_Miel Feb 14, 2012 flag
  • ¿O hay algo mejor? - Goldie_Miel Feb 14, 2012 flag
  • I believe they are used correctly. It is also possible to use "Para recordarte lo mucho que te necesito..." But I think cuánto might be better. - inridk Feb 14, 2012 flag
  • But that's probably a matter of taste ;) - inridk Feb 14, 2012 flag
