Joyce, with all due respect, now is not the time. Now is the time just to sloooooow down a little. Let people sleep, let the dust settle, let people communicate with each other.

This has nothing to do with management schools, training courses or whatever. Some people at the moment are really hurt. Lets just have a period of settlement before we start having "thought showers" or whatever the words are.

JoyceM, Thanks for taking the glass half full perspective. For me, it is hard to make a recommendation to push forward and improve things, when we don't know why our moderators are leaving. Is there some big news that we are not privy to that will impact the future of this site? Certainly without knowing the big picture we are all feeling a little shy about putting "our best foot forward" (I wonder if that translates well).

In any case, I am here to stay, and will try my best to provide well thought out answers, even if there are few native speakers/moderators to correct.

Joyce I have to agree wholeheartedly with Billy that we need to be senstive to people's emotional pain right now.

There is/willl be an appropriate time for moving on but I believe that now is not the time/the time is not yet.I really feelthat we need a time of quiet reflection out of respect to those who are suffering
