I going to dinner tonight Voy a cenar esta noche.
The Spanish is slightly more ambiguous than the English. In English the use of "dinner" rather than "dine" implies that one will not be dining at home. To be really explicit in Spanish, one could say "Voy a cenar afuera esta noche."
