Tú eres mío.. would be the literal translation.

One really obscure way is,

íNo te atrevas! - Don't you dare.

¡Eres mío!

Eres la mia

  • the defininite article isn't used after Ser. The pronoun matches the antecedent; not the possessor. - qfreed Feb 9, 2012 flag
  • La casa es mía (la casa de él) - qfreed Feb 9, 2012 flag
  • "mía" is femenine. Husband is masculine. - farallon7 Feb 9, 2012 flag
  • Hmm, referring to a lesbian couple, perhaps. - samdie Feb 9, 2012 flag

pertenece a mi

  • Perteneces a mi (you belong to me). Welcome to the forum! ;) - NickDan Feb 9, 2012 flag
  • "pertenece" is the "usted" form of address which (although possible) is unlikely. - samdie Feb 9, 2012 flag

I might as well throw a wrench in the gears as usual... Vos sos mío. But the others are correct. Just depends where you live

  • There's nothing wrong with "covering all the bases" and there are ccertainly places where that would be the phrase of choice. - samdie Feb 9, 2012 flag
