Hi Susan. You would say, "(Tú) Eres muy amable" (informal) or "(Usted) Es muy amable" (formal). Our Super-Search translator and dictionary box on the upper-right hand side of your screen is really helpful with quick questions like this one. Welcome to the forum!
- Hi Stuart. The translate button is more to the left of the screen, just after the Spaníshd!ct logo. - Eddy Feb 8, 2012 flag
- Hey Eddy -- the translate "tab" is there, but a shortcut is the blue box with the magnifying glass on the upper-right hand side of the screen (next to your avatar). Will search both the translators and the dictionary directly from the page you're on! - StuartSD Feb 8, 2012 flag
- I put something into that blue search box clicked and clicked but nothing happened. - kenwilliams Feb 8, 2012 flag

Another form to "amable" you could use will be "eres muy simpático". The Spanish word "simpático" does not equate to the English "sympathetic". It translates as "nice, pleasant, kind"
