Best traditional Cuban desserts?

I am an avid cook/baker and would love to try out some new recipes! So please tell me some favorites.

Hi Drew. I'm a big fan of traditional Cuban baked goods called "empanadas de guayaba y queso" (guava and cream cheese empanadas). If you fry them, they should look something like this when you're done. The challenge is finding the Guava paste and the "discos" (Goya products are the easiest to find). You could even get them online if your local grocery store (or Hispanic food store if there's one around) doesn't have them.

Here's a recipe for empanadas (you can skip the egg and salt part and should use the "discos" I mentioned before instead of wonton wrappers). Also here's a video of how to prepare them. Fried empanadas (explained in the recipe) are much better than the baked version (in the video), but you can try whatever you prefer.
