If you think you're in control, have children. You'll soon find you're not.
Si piensas estar al mando, tengo hijos. Pronto descubrirás que no es así.

- Eso es. - annierats Feb 7, 2012 flag
- ...estar al mando. Tenga hijos. Pronto descubrirás que no es así. - drvicente Feb 7, 2012 flag
- I'm confused by you correctivos. Is there some reason you made the end of the first sentence separate? And why tenga? - Leatha Feb 7, 2012 flag
- Leatha: Your statement says "tengo hijos" = 'I have children." What you want to say is to tell the reader that _they_ should have children, hence I believe a command / imperativo / mandato: - xocoyote Feb 7, 2012 flag

Before you take the control of people, learn how to love them and to let them love you too.
Antés de asumir el mando de la gente, aprende como amarla y déjala que te ama también.
Correction: Antes de asumir el mando de la gente, aprende cómo quererla y déjala que te ame también.

- I'm not sure of my Spanish ... correct me please . - Mndeen75 Feb 7, 2012 flag
- I think "querer" would be better than "amar" here because "amar" implies a passionate love between two people. "Querer" is more general. - Netjert Feb 7, 2012 flag
- ...aprende cómo quererla y déjala que te ame también. - drvicente Feb 7, 2012 flag

I think I have leadership qualities. My wife doesn't think so.

El mando manual es un buen accesorio fotografico para los que son competentes en la fotografía. Los aficionados deberían comprar los aparatos automáticos.
