ASK A QUESTION Explaining ''Taquito de Ojo''
SO, I've long wondered what the proper answer to this. I get this gist of the phrase ''taquito de ojo'' when it's said describing a woman. To me it would seem to be comparable to the English phrase ''eye candy'' which means she's good-looking, nice to look at, or very easy on the eyes, etc; hints she is like candy for the eyes.
However, I have been told this is incorrect. Anyways, I'm looking for some help getting the following:
A) Translation
B) Meaning

- I appreciate the song, Akwid is actually the primary reason I ask. They're one of my of favorite groups and I've heard this song many times. Still doesn't really tell me what it means. Jaja, I can't tell if it's an idiom, phrase, or what. ;-P - DJ_Huero Feb 1, 2012 flag
- I don't think that gal is looking her best in that particular clip... :-) The title probably refers to some other segment of the movie. - Gekkosan Feb 1, 2012 flag
I can't provide you with any verifiable sources, but I've heard this as taco de ojo, and was told it means what you said, eye candy. And that poster seems to confirm that as well.
Echar un taco de ojo: to look at, but not obtain, for example to window shop, or referring to a good looking person of the opposite sex.
Look, but don't touch!
