Furthermore, the train made possible to transport many things and huge things in only one way.
At the same time appeared the stamps, this are a piece of paper that you could buy at post office. A stamp represented the cost of the transport of the letter or the pack. The cost were different depend on the distance between the origin and the destination.
Other revolution was when the telephone appears, with that, it became possible to talk with people who were far away.
Nowadays, few people send letters by post, almost all people use the e-mail or webs to be in contact with their friends, their family or work matters. What’s more, today is possible to establish a teleconference by internet, and maintain a meeting or a conversation at the same time among people that lives in different countries. It is possible to listen and see the persons which are talking. But always is nice when you receive a postcard from a friend who is on holidays and he or she thinks in you and writes some lines and explains his/her experience in other countries.
On the other hand, books, documents, presents, etc that one person send to another is transported by courier companies by fastest trains, ships and planes worldwide.

Congratulations - that was well done. There were two recurring mistakes you should pay attention to:
1, In English, "people" is plural and takes a plural noun.
2, The construction "it is"; you must include the neuter pronoun.

Well, I don't suppose you want British English corrected to US English. I would use mail is some places where you used post, we go on vacation rather than on holiday we think of you; not in you. I'm just saying that some of my recommendations may just be due to biased cultural phrasings and not to any errors.
