How to say " I am Russian"

Hi, I need help! I am wondering how should I say " I am Russian"; I am from Russia; My mother was an artist; My father was a scientist. I have a cat.She is very playful. I also have three dogs. Thank you!

Yo respondería de la manera siguiente: "Soy ruso (o "rusa" si eres chica); mi madre fue una artista y mi padre fue científico. Tengo una gata que es muy juguetona. Y también tengo tres perros"

This is how I would say: "Soy ruso(a); Yo soy de Russia; Mi mamá fue una artista; Mi papá fue un científico. Tengo una gata. Ella es muy juguetona. Y también tengo tres perros. Gracias."
