ASK A QUESTION Marshmallows & SpanshDict
So it seems that some of our SpanishDict friends have never tasted marshmallows. Lets give them a "taste" of what marshmallows are by telling them your favorite ways to eat them... This can be your favorite receipt, or how you like to roast them. You can also tell a favorite childhood story about marshmallows. If none of those ideas suit you, say anything related to marshmallows in general! Don't forget to post pictures!

Well, I know that I cannot drink hot chocolate without marshmallows!!

This was a classic recipe made from cereal that I ate as a child. I have also enjoyed making them for my kids. ![]()

There is one more thing some people love that is made with marshmallows and that is the "Peeps". They are seasonal and usually available around Easter, although they have some Halloween "Peeps", too.
Take a tour of the "Peeps" factory here. (I hope)

Many thanks for your efforts to explain to me , poor ignorant being, what is the marshmallow.
In exchange I should like to demonstrate a real hungarian speciality the " Túró Rudi" . This is a bar of sweetened cottage cheese with chocolate coating. It is very popular not only among the children ,but the grown ups as well.

- Chocolate and cheese? Hmmm! - Yeser007 Jan 11, 2012 flag
- That is a special kind of cheese. In Hungary it is not considered cheese, but there is no word for this in English. Produced from milk but - porcupine7 Jan 11, 2012 flag

Recuerdo a mamá cocción de horno los camotes horneando batatas con malvaviscos arriba. Luego, los serviría se será servir lo con jamón.
I remember Mom baking sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top. Then she would serve it with ham.
Corrections to my Spanish are appreciated.
