Thank you card

Question

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could please help me. Recently my sister threw me a surprise birthday party. One of her friends was here visiting from Mexico and attended my party. Surprisingly she gave me a gift and I want to thank her for the money. I have no Spanish speaking skills and I would like to send her a thank you card. Can some one please help me write one? Thank you

I would suggest that you post here first what you exactly want to say, & I bet there'd be some nice people here who will try to get you the best translated version possible.

I can give you a start...Me ha dado mucha felizidad que atendiste a mi cumplieanos. I'm not going to write the whole thing, because you would have learned nothing if I did. You should try, even just a little. Another thing you could do is write it in english and then run it in the translator.
