Lost in the Land of the Geniuses

Question

I'm lost, looking for the dunce corner. Could someone show me the way. I have to escape from all these intelligent people. Is there a refuge where we idiots can hide and learn (Spanish) anonymously? Or might it be that I'm alone??!!

Estoy perdido, buscando el rinconsito de los burros. ¿Pudiera algien enseñarme el camino? Es preciso que yo escape de toda esta gente tan intelegente. ¿Hay un refugio en donde nosotros tontos podemos escondernos y todavía aprender (Español) anónimamente? ¡¡¿¿O acaso estoy sólo??!!

Pinolero: Go to La Isla de Apoyo. it's a kind of holiday place on this site where we can groan a lot. It's most helpful, except the geniuses will visit in lifeboats and bring bits of grammar with them but you can hide under a palm-tree.

This advice is from one of the burros who never understands the grammatical links at all, in fact, can barely operate her computer and frequently sits on her glasses. I think she lied on the application form too and claimed she could spell... Now she just says' typo' about every error in the book.

If you write 'ser' instead of 'estar', just say typo. You'll be fine. Welcome and Happy New Year.
